Sareen & Associates was founded in 1993 by Arun K. Sareen to help business owners turn around their small businesses by providing hands-on professional accounting and tax services, and business counseling.
The company’s knack for business and desire to help small to midsize clients have given them the respect of seasoned entrepreneurs and business owners. Now with multiple locations in operation, Sareen & Associates professionals coach a wide range of clients in cash flow management, margin and profit controls, tax strategies and business development, in addition to basic accounting, bookkeeping, payroll and tax services.
Each office is managed by a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). |

Arun K. Sareen, CPA is a graduate of George Mason University, a Certified Public Accountant, and a real estate broker. He has years of experience working for large corporations, as well as running his own small to midsize businesses, including a restaurant, convenience store, service station, waste management company, realty company, business brokerage company, and an export/import firm. |

Rajesh Kumar, CPA is a seasoned Certified Public Accountant, and a Chartered Accountant, has years of experience in tax planning, IRS negotiations and financial statement design, preparation and analysis. Rajesh runs our Fairfax/Manassas office. |

Doug Mort, CPA is a seasoned Certified Public Accountant with years of experience in both California and Virginia. Besides extensive experience in performing audits, he is well versed in tax preparation, planning, review and audit representation as well as financial statement design, compilation and analysis. Doug had his CPA / tax practice in the Stephen City / Winchester area which he merged with Sareen & Associates in 1997. Doug runs our Winchester / Stephens City office. |

Leonard Goodman, CPA received his BA degree from San Diego State University and later earned a masters degree from Strayer College. He is currently licensed as a CPA in Virginia and Florida and has his enrolled agent certificate from the IRS. Leonard had his own tax practice in Springfield/Burke, VA, which he merged with Sareen & Associates in 1997. He is currently managing the Occoquan and Fredericksburg offices. Leonard works on complex tax matters, IRS negotiations and tax planning. |
